Waiting for its turn

Sammi Majors was seriously injured in a riding accident on Saturday Jan 14th, near Charlotte, NC. After some days in hospital she is recovering but will be confined to a wheelchair for several weeks.

The scheduled event on Sat Feb 4th was turned into the “All for Sammi Jumper Show”. The forecast called for mild, cloudy weather with rain in the late afternoon. Well, they got it wrong! Throughout the day the rain came and went, but fortunately not enough to dampen the goodwill and enthusiasm. Also not enough to force the photographer to run for cover. Actually the soft lighting was ideal for most of the day through the late afternoon until the camera groaned and gave up. Apologies to the last few riders of the day.
