TTC Fun Hunter Show on Saturday 08/24/2019 at Thoroughbred Training Center(TTC).

I have photographed several horse-shows this year. However, the weather hampered most of these events. Some were too hot for the riders, others too cold and miserable, still others too wet. The day before this show I checked the forecast and was led to believe conditions would be cloudy but without rain. Perfect weather for the show I thought. Bright and overcast would be good for the riders, and even better for taking photographs.

Unfortunately, the forecast missed the rain component. It turned out to be cloudy the whole day, dark and gloomy, coupled with several light showers.

Most of the riders seemed not to care too much about the rain. Meanwhile, I kept taking pictures. As a result, I was constantly toweling off the camera and lens and juggling camera settings to get useable results. Finally, I did get some great images, including several smiling faces that greeted me throughout the day.
