My Visit - November 10.

We had initially planned to visit the Carolina Renfest on November 9th this year, but by the time we went to grab tickets, it had already sold out. Luckily, there were still tickets available for November 10th, so we switched our plans and went for it! The weather was absolutely perfect for photography—cloudy yet bright, with soft, even light and no harsh shadows. This made it so much easier to scan the crowd and look for interesting subjects in every direction.

The day kicked off in the sweetest way when a little girl handed me a flower while I was still adjusting my camera and testing the light. I still have that flower—it was such a cute moment! From there, the day unfolded like it usually does: meandering through the crowds, watching and waiting for those candid, interesting faces. I ended up capturing some great shots, but honestly, the genuine, happy smiles are always my favorite.
