TTC Jumper Show – 12/12/2020

With Covid-19 still an issue, a lot of people have to adapt to get the job done. Here is a trainer with a mask trying to get her message across. I bet hands and body gestures are used much more nowadays than they used to be.

TTC -Dressage/CT/Jumper Show – 10/31/2020
The most recent Dressage, Combined Test, and Jumper show at TTC was on October 31, 2020. It also happened to be Halloween. Besides the usual enjoyment and family fun, there were costumes. Riders in costume, spectators in costume and even horses in costume. I saw at big cat (leopard?), a pumpkin, a witch and lots of creative use of hair/mane color …

TTC – English Fun Hunter Show – 10/24/2020
This was the largest show I have experienced at TTC. Because of the huge entry, there was a distinct possibility of not being able to complete before dark. Therefore, the schedule for the day was juggled with some split classes and other combined classes . . .

TTC – English Hunter Fun Show – 9/5/2020
‘A Judge’s View’ has become a highlight of my day while taking photographs of a Hunter Show at TTC. I try to get at close as I can in order to hear the comments and watch the reactions. The judges are usually generous with their constructive criticism and I love the expressions on the rider’s faces as they absorb the words of wisdom . . .

TTC – Dressage/CT/Jumper Show – 8/15/2020
So much has changed in these last few months. But one thing that hasn’t changed is how difficult it is to take photographs in conditions of high heat and humidity.
The early part of this horse show was one such morning. I arrived at TTC and went to the dressage arena. But, between my fogged glasses and fogged camera I was helpless. Wiping off the moisture didn’t help either, because the fog was back within seconds. . . .
